    How do I transfer money to Spain online?
    1. Create a profile or log in to your Western Union account and click “Continue.”
    2. Select “Spain” in the “Send to” box and enter the amount you would like to send in the relevant box.
    3. Once you’ve entered the desired amount, you’ll be asked to choose how the receiver will get the money — in their bank account or to be picked up in cash.
    4. For the next step, select a payment method. You should now be able to see a comprehensive quote.
    5. Click “Continue” to go to the next page and fill out both your own and the receiver’s details. You will also be asked to indicate the reason for the transfer and the source of the funds.
    6. Once you’ve confirmed the transaction, you’ll receive a unique MTCN (money transfer control number) to track the progress of your transfer. You can share this number with your receiver.
    What do I need to send money to Spain online?

    To send money to Spain online, you’ll need to provide us with the following information:

    • The full name of your receiver in Spain; make sure that it exactly matches the name on the ID that the receiver will use to collect the funds.
    • The email address and telephone number of your receiver, if you have them.
    • The reason for transferring money to Spain.
    • Information about the source of the funds.

    You’ll also need to register and verify your Western Union profile.

    How do I send money to Spain from a Western Union agent location?

    1. Visit your chosen agent location with your ID, your bank details and the receiver’s bank details.
