• If you’re sending money from a credit2 or debit card, you can send up to $5,000.

Sending money to Mexico for deposit in a bank account is quick and easy. You can choose to send money to a qualifying bank account using your credit or Visa debit card¹ or pay by bank transfer.

Here’s how:

5. Review and confirm your money is on the way. We will send you a confirmation email with a tracking number of your money transfer, known as a Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN). You can share this number with your receiver to track the money.

If you’re sending money to Mexico from Canada for deposit in a bank account, you’ll need to have some details about your receiver. Have their account type and number, as well as their national ID, phone number and address. This includes the state and city.

If paying by credit/Visa debit card¹:
